About Milletan
We started with the grain, not the cookie.
Milletan is an ancient-grain food company from Surat. Ragi and jowar fed this country long before refined flour did, and they are still better food. Cookies are simply where we started putting them.

Company Narrative
Our Story
Most millet snacking asks you to accept less. Less taste, less texture, in exchange for a health claim printed on the front. We did not want to make that trade, so we started from the grain and worked forward: ragi and jowar as the first ingredient, jaggery instead of refined sugar, butter that is actually butter.
Then we did the part most brands skip. On the Ancient Bake range we print the percentages. Ragi Cacao is 45% ragi flour, 24% salted butter, 11% jaggery powder. You do not have to take the word "millet" on trust - you can read how much of it there is and decide for yourself.
We also bake a second range, and we would rather say so plainly than let one halo cover both. Classic Bake is wheat baking - the pistachio rusk, the butter crunch, the chocolate chip cookie - made without preservatives or artificial colours, but made with wheat flour. It is not a millet product and we do not describe it as one.
Our cookies are baked for us in small batches by partner bakeries, and every pack carries our FSSAI licence, a full ingredient list and a complete allergen statement including what else the bakery handles. Grain is where we began and where we are going: the flours and raw millets behind these recipes are the natural next thing for us to sell.
Brand Principles
Why Milletan
We print the percentages
Ancient Bake packs state how much ragi, butter and jaggery is inside. A claim you can check beats a claim you have to believe.
Two ranges, two honest promises
Ancient Bake is millet-led with no maida and no refined sugar. Classic Bake is wheat baking done cleanly. We never let one stand in for the other.
The whole allergen story
Not just what is in the recipe, but what else the bakery handles - wheat, soy, peanuts, nuts, sesame - so nobody has to guess.
The tenth pack tastes like the first
Small batches, fixed recipes and batch checks, so the cookie you reorder is the cookie you liked.
Market Focus
Who We Serve
People who read the back of the pack
Households who want a real snack and want to know what is in it, without decoding a marketing claim first.
Retailers and distributors
Stockists who need consistent quality, consumer-ready 200g packs and a supplier who answers the phone.
Bulk and export buyers
Institutional and overseas buyers looking for millet-based baked goods with documentation support.
We would rather be the brand that tells you it is 45% ragi than the brand that just says "millet" and hopes you don't ask.
Ancient grain. Nothing hidden.

Frequently Asked Questions
It prints how much grain is actually in the cookie. Ancient Bake packs state the percentage of ragi, butter and jaggery, so the millet claim is one you can check rather than one you have to believe. And where a range is wheat rather than millet, Milletan says so instead of letting a single claim cover the whole catalogue.
No. Every product is baked in facilities that also handle wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts and sesame, so none of them is certified gluten-free or nut-free. Several recipes contain nuts or milk outright. The full allergen statement, including what else the bakery handles, is printed on every pack and repeated on each product page.
